Plotting the root to landscaping success at Wentworth Castle
VWhen Wentworth Castle and Stainborough Heritage Trust embarked on a major project to restore the 500-acre estate in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, sympathetic landscaping of the beautiful grounds was integral to the success of the project. In order to provide a soft, 'green' solution that still had the structural strength to withstand up to 70,000 visitors a year, trustees turned to Tarmac Topsport's Loksand Rootzone system.
Quarry Reopening
Two dormant Tarmac quarries are being reopened for a major Aggregate Products contract. The quarries in Dinas and Penwyllt, Wales, both closed in 1996 but are being reopened for the rest of this year to help Western Areas other aggregate outlets satisfy demand.
Sporty Contract
Topsport has hopped, skipped and jumped its way to a sporty contract with the National Exhibition Centre Group.
