Coarse Turf

From football to cricket, rugby to polo our coarse turf products are formulated to provide durability and consistency. We supply a range of products for coarse turf pitches including specialist sands, rootzones and Loksand.

- Slit Drainage Sands
High permeability sands to allow the rapid flow of water to the drains but also sufficiently water retentive to support grass growth. Stable enough to maintain the playing surface under extreme wear conditions.

- Soil amelioration
Suitable uniform sands to blend with existing soil to create a free-draining rootzone with pore space to provide airflow and water percolation

- Blinding Sands
Specially selected sands to prevent soil over drain trenches from contaminating the gravel backfill in the trench or the rootzone material from migrating down from an overlying rootzone into a gravel carpet. Always selected to have a suitable bridging factor with the underlying gravel.
