Environmental policy

Our environmental policy draws on well-established Tarmac systems, with more challenging targets set and independently approved each year.

 

 

 

We take pride in being responsible for the environment. By working hard to minimise any negative impact we may have, we're able to prevent pollution, improve our environmental performance and aim for a sustainable future.

As holders of environmental standards BS14001, we comply with all British standards and exceed them whenever we can. We use energy, water and raw materials wisely and cut waste through re-using and recycling.

Our employees are encouraged to be environmentally aware through regular training programmes and we're always looking for new and innovative ways in which we can protect the environment further. We are committed to encouraging the adoption of sound environmental principles amongst contractors, suppliers and customers alike.

We aim to ensure all our products perform to high standards of energy efficiency, sound insulation, durability and longevity, and where possible maximise recycling opportunities.
