Tarmac Topfloor takes gold
Never mind the Grand National, Tarmac Topfloor is racing ahead after being awarded a gold award in the North East regional final of the annual 'Supplier of the Year' competition..
Organised by the UK's leading retirement property developers, McCarthy & Stone, the annual Supplier of the Year competition was developed in a bid to raise standards throughout the construction industry. As a winner of the North East regional final, Tarmac will now go on to compete for the national title.
Commenting on the win Phil Harris, sales and marketing director, Tarmac Topfloor said:
"Over the past 12 months we have been working tirelessly to enhance the levels of customer service and promote excellence throughout the business. Service is an increasingly important factor in choosing a supplier and we have devoted considerable time and effort into ensuring that our clients consistently benefit from a high level of support at all stages of a project.
"The success achieved in the North East shows that many of the schemes we have introduced have been well received by clients. We are delighted that our efforts have been formally recognised by McCarthy & Stone, and hopefully we can go on to repeat this performance later this year in the national finals."
The McCarthy & Stone awards are regarded across the construction industry as a benchmark of excellence. The awards are one of the longest running competitions in the construction industry and have been competed for annually for over 20 years. Tarmac Topfloor is hoping to repeat the success it achieved in 2002, when the company went on to win the national title.
