Hemelite Paint Quality

Hemelite Paint Quality blocks

Hemelite Paint Quality blocks have a close texture surface ideally suited for walls that are to receive direct decoration. They can be used in commercial, industrial, leisure and school buildings. They are robust and durable, while offering high levels of fire resistance, sound insulation, and air tightness.

Colour and texture vary according to which factory produces them, so please ask to inspect samples.

Recycled content

The majority of our manufacturing Plants use a high proportion^ of recycled/ secondary materials in the production of Hemelite which combined with good Green Guide Ratings make Hemelite a very sustainable product.

Hemelite Paint Quality applications

- Inner leaves of cavity walls

- Separating walls including firebreak walls

- Internal partitions

Unit and laid weights are approximate and calculated based on the specified dry density with 3% moisture content by volume added to provide equilibrium weights.

Other items may be available subject to minimum order quantities.

* Manufactured to order. An alternative way to construct 190-215mm walls is to use two leaves of 90mm/100mm Hemelite blocks laid back to back and suitably tied. Design guidance on both these methods of construction is given in BS 5628-1 or contact Topblock technical services for advice.

Hemelite Paint Quality environmental performance

Hemelite Paint Quality is manufactured under an ISO 14001 compliant Environmental Management System that is independently certified by BSI. Summary green guide ratings applicable to Hemelite blocks can be found in the BRE Green Guide to Specification www.thegreenguide.org.uk.

ˆ The average recycled content of Hemelite Paint Quality including the use of secondary materials is approximately 60% across all production.
