In 2011, we launched the first-ever concrete mobile app, designed to calculate ready mixed concrete volumes and to make ordering concrete a straightforward process. The tool enables customers to work out the concrete volume they require in three easy steps.
Users just select the required shape and enter the relevant dimensions to accurately calculate the concrete volume they need. This innovative tool makes ordering concrete easier for customers and they can place an order through the app by requesting a call back from their closest Tarmac plant.
The new smartphone app improves site efficiency by enabling customers to make quick calculations, and also reduces waste by supporting customers’ efforts to order accurate volumes of concrete.
Tarmac Concrete has been certified ‘VERY GOOD’ for Responsible Sourcing by BRE and as the UK’s leading concrete specialist we are well placed to respond to orders via the mobile app.
