The U-CAN® range – user-friendly cement products

Tarmac Building Products has launched the innovative U-CAN ® range of easy-to-use cement products, which are available in all B&Q stores across the UK.

U-CAN® products are an exciting development for Tarmac, customers and retailers such as B&Q. We spent two years creating the range of ‘Mix in the Bag’ cement.

The sustainable products are aimed at people who enjoy DIY but would not normally try to repair a concrete floor or a patio. They include ‘Mix in the Bag’ concrete and mortar as well as ‘Waterproof repair mortar’.

All customers have to do is add water to the cement bag and shake it around to mix the contents. In just a few minutes, the concrete is ready to use. The bags have unique, easy-carry handles that make life easier for customers.

Tarmac Building Products has created short ‘how-to’ films for every product in the extensive range. We have put QR codes on each item. ‘QR’ stands for ‘Quick Response’ and means that customers with a smartphone can scan the code and watch the DIY video instantly on the screen. They can also watch the films online at www.u-can.tv, which cover topics such as ‘How to mix concrete’ and ‘How to repair a concrete floor’.
