Tarmac triumphs at National Sustainability Awards

Tarmac's Northumberland quarries have been awarded a major prize at the prestigious Sustain Awards event, held in London on the 3 March. The company took home the Natural England-sponsored 'Award for Biodiversity', in recognition of the outstanding work that the company has done to create Biodiversity Action Plans at each quarry in the region.
New appointment enhances commitment to Sustainability

Tarmac has demonstrated its commitment to enhancing the sustainable performance of its products and operations with the appointment of a new head of Sustainability, Dr Martyn Kenny.
Tarmac Homes Project at Nottingham University
Tarmac are building two concept masonry homes at the University of Nottingham. The aim is that the homes will provide organisations working within the public and private housing markets, with a tried and tested method of delivering low-carbon, low-cost housing.
