SafetyDeck applications

HSE statistics show that falls from height are the most common cause of fatal injury and the second most common cause of major injury to employees.

The Work at Height Regulations 2005 came into affect on 6th April 2005 and are applicable to all work at height where there is a risk of fall liable to cause personal injury.

SafetyDeck is at the top of the hierarchy of safety in that it is a passive system that can be used to prevent a fall.

Designed to offer a cost-effective and adaptable solution for anyone working at height, SafetyDeck is particularly suited to the installation of flooring and roofing systems as well as many of the finishing trades.

Installation of precast concrete flooring systems

SafetyDeck is suitable for the installation of all precast concrete flooring systems, offering fall prevention rather than just a fall arrest system. It is particularly suitable when installing beam and block flooring at upper floor levels.

SafetyDeck is used by a number of precast flooring manufacturers and specialist fixing companies and the system is approved by the PFF (Precast Flooring Federation).

Installation of roof trusses and timber joists

Used by a number of the major developers, contractors, and roof truss manufacturers, Safetydeck offers the ideal solution to protect workers from falls from height.

As it is a passive system allowing full freedom of movement, the installation of timber joists, roof trusses and flat roof systems can be carried out quickly and efficiently.
