Surface installation system

Many of today’s environments require very high tolerance surfaces where the accuracy of levels is paramount to its construction. In response to this requirement Tarmac has developed a surface installation system known as Laserpave.

The system is a precision asphalt laying technique which utilises state of the art laser equipment to control the level of the screed on the paving machine and can achieve surface level tolerances of 3mm.

The system uses a remote tripod mounted self levelling rotating laser transmitter and two laser receivers fitted to each side of the tracked paving machine screed. These receivers are linked to the screed levelling control on the paving machine and make continuous adjustments to the screed as the material is laid.
