Limestone
Limestone a popular building Tarmac aggregate
Limestone is a very popular construction aggregate and was actually used to construct the Egyptian Pyramids. Approximately 10% of all sedimentary rock is limestone.
Limestone, although widely available, has a relatively low PSV and is therefore commonly used in subbase, asphalt base and binder course as well as concrete applications.
A day to day product that contains limestone is the toothpaste we clean our teeth with commonly supplied by Tarmac Buxton Lime.
