Tarmac to the rescue for BBC DIY SOS
Tarmac and Strata Construction recently came to the aid of BBC programme DIY SOS, (presented by Nick Knowles, pictured above) as the team helped rebuild a badly damaged foster home in Toll Bar, near Doncaster, which was hit by devastating floods earlier this year.
Tarmac donated 4m3 of P275 concrete via its relationship with Strata Construction, who undertook the re-vamping of the foster home by restoring the children's downstairs play areas. Robert Riley, Tarmac Northern Aggregate Products account manager, said: "in view of both companies' close links with the South Yorkshire area, we were pleased to help in a small way with the ongoing repair works".
