Ecobuild 2008

Ecobuild 2008
26-28 February 2008
Earls Court London
www.ecobuild.co.uk

In 2007 Tarmac attended Ecobuild, part of Innovations for the Built Environment, at London's Earls Court. Over 3 days more than 13,000 people walked through the doors of the exhibition to attend seminars and conferences covering topics on waste water management, climate change and learn more about sustainable solutions for the modern world. For Tarmac, the show was a big success in securing contracts for many of our sustainable solutions and educating visitors about what we have to offer.

Running from 26th to 28th February, this year's show aims to be bigger and better than ever before. Year on year the show has doubled in size and 2008 is no exception. And Tarmac will be attending with even more products and solutions on offer.

We will be showcasing a whole host of sustainable products at Ecobuild such as Porous Pavement System, Thermal Mass Systems, FoamMaster and much more. See our Sustainable Products Spotlight for all our sustainable products.

Experts from Tarmac will be speaking at seminars and will be taking part in the conference discussion panels.

'Road to Zero Carbon' area

This year Ecobuild features a 'Road to Zero Carbon' area, which will display several ways in which various construction materials can assist in reducing CO2 emissions. Tarmac Topblock will be part of this feature, building a 200mm wide solid aircrete block wall structure. Using Tarmac's Durox solid wall masonry, this is a simple and effective method of constructing high thermal performance homes. Based on the proven benefits of thin joint aircrete blockwork, solid external walls and internal walls can be erected quickly.
