M5 Junctions 18-19 Avonmouth Bridge Strengthening

Costain Civil Engineering Ltd were awarded the contract to strengthen the Avonmouth Bridge, which carries the M5 Motorway over the River Avon. This was due to the increase in the gross weight of heavy goods vehicles from 38 up to 42 tonnes.
