RoadMaster SMA and PathMaster are cold-lay reinstatement materials for road repair and reinstatement. BBA/HAPAS approved and specifically formulated for fast, one-stop repairs. This cold-lay asphalt range does not need to be mixed on site and can be stored over longer periods.

Ashford Crescent Flood Alleviation Scheme, Preston

Balfour Beatty Utilities were appointed to construct a series of surface water drainage ducts and a collection tank. The collection tank was a 20m diameter, 14m deep vertical shaft constructed from precast concrete segments. Once in place the concrete segments are surrounded by grout, this fills and seals any voids. The amount of grout required varies with ground in which the segments are being placed.

Newcastle International Airport

To extend three existing aircraft stands and install three new 600m2 hard-standing areas at Newcastle International Airport. The time contingent works called for rapid installation, enabling the stands to be re-opened to aircraft after 72 hours.
