Concrete for agriculture

Back

What types of concretes can be used at farms?

Specialist concrete for agricultural applications

Ready mixed concrete - Topforce reinforced concrete

Topforce is a ready mixed concrete that is delivered to you with the reinforcement already in it, ideal for concrete flooring. There's no steel mesh to wait on, no huge delays, or additional costs and health and safety issues. Topforce takes away the need for steel reinforcing mesh which is likely to rust over time and could protrude through the concrete. The use of Topforce ensures a safer working environment for farm workers and livestock.

Made stronger to last longer – Toproc CR (Chemical resistant)

Milk, urine, animal droppings, fertilisers, pesticides, oil and diesel all contain chemicals that cause ordinary concrete to corrode and crack. Toproc CR is specially designed for heavy wearing applications like milking sheds and stables. Tarmac Toproc CR is resistant to these and many other chemicals ensuring your concrete floor lasts longer.

How is it delivered?

Tarmac Topforce and Toproc CR are delivered ready-mixed and laid in exactly the same way as ordinary concrete. So whether you install it yourself or use a contractor there’s no need to hire expensive equipment or use specialist labour.
