Coloured Tarmac

Mastertint is a coloured tarmac range that's both aesthetically pleasing and can practically mark out important boundaries such as bus lanes and pedestrian areas. It is an excellent solution for both commercial and residential environment.

Through the use of an innovative clear binder, Mastertint® has created a unique generation of surfacings. It offers the functional qualities of conventional asphalt in a range of attractive colours and surface textures.

The natural choice for architects and planners, it's a viable alternative to concrete modular systems and can be installed in hours.

Mastertint® requires little maintenance and provides a smooth, safe surface for pedestrians.

 

Mastertint colours

Mastertint Classic

Mastertint's classic range is the ideal choice for schemes of character and distinction and is available in a including shades of red, green, buff, grey, white and blue.  Non-standard colours available on request.

Mastertint Natural

Selected decorative aggregate bound with a clear binder to give a natural coloured surface.

Mastertint is aesthetically appealing and offers all the functional qualities of conventional asphalt,
making it the ultimate choice for highway, residential and pedestrian surfacing.

There are possibilities from red asphalt, blue asphalt, green asphalt, grey asphalt, white asphalt, red tarmac, blue tarmac, green tarmac, grey tarmac, white tarmac or any other coloured tarmac you require.

 

Mastertint uses

Highways

With its combination of colours and surface textures, Mastertint can also be used to effectively delineate high profile locations such as bus lanes, cycle lanes and traffic calming areas.  See Birmingham Bus Lanes case study below.

Public parks and gardens

For rural or environmentally sensitive off-highway schemes, Mastertints clear-bound aggregate range is the natural choice for architects and planners alike.

Residential / lightly trafficked areas

Suitable for coloured driveways, coloured roads, coloured footpaths, coloured sports surfaces and coloured car parking areas. Mastertint is a durable coloured alternative to traditional asphalt.  It is a direct alternative for block paving systems.

Pedestrian areas

Mastertint's smooth and even texture provides a safe pedestrian surface, minimising the risk of slips, trips and falls.
