Trading via T-Cards

We're implementing a great system for streamlining procurement. The T-card is our way of reducing paperwork involved in buying some general goods and services, like office supplies, equipment repair, protective equipment, electrical services and components.

 

Instead of having to generate SAP purchase orders for everything we need to buy, we're using the T-card (Tarmac Card!), a business-to-business trading card, powered by AMEX.

Of course, it's an approach that's more suitable in some situations than others. We're not using it for everything we buy, but we know it can bring big benefits to our operations and to those suppliers involved. Our suppliers get paid quicker, there are less payment queries and we save paperwork, helping to reduce administration costs and reducing impact on the environment.

If you're already registered to trade via American Express Corporate Purchasing Card but you're not yet trading with Tarmac, this is a great opportunity for you to grow your business. Transacting via the T-Card system will become a pre-condition of trade for suppliers of certain goods and services.
