Packaging is used to ensure products
can be safely transported, off-loaded
and stored on site or to provide
protection where it is essential to
maintain product performance and
reduce waste.
We are constantly looking for new
innovations, which reduce packaging
and wastage.
Some of the key sustainable practices include:
- Toplite and Durox are supplied
shrink-wrapped for protection
during delivery and storage.
- Where possible, the thickness of polythene has been reduced and the purchase of polythene with up to 20% recycled content is used. 100% of this material is recyclable.
- Hemelite and Topcrete are supplied in cubes, secured with plastic strapping for safe delivery.
- Fork-lift packs are offered as an alternative to pallets.
- Pallets are normally sold as returnable for collection during subsequent deliveries. Pallets can be reused or recycled.
