As a company, we're conscious of the impact we can have on the environment. We've created a demanding system to make sure our practices are responsible and this impact is as positive as possible.
Our environmental policy draws on well-established Tarmac systems, with more challenging targets set and independently approved each year.
All our plants operate an Enviornment Management System, which conforms to EN 14001. This includes using up-to-date technology that meets statutory requirements, minimising waste and CO2 emissions, using raw materials efficiently and recycling.
All of our sites, plants and vehicles are regularly maintained. Our drivers are expected to behave considerately on the road, and all our people are continually encouraged to look for new ways of improving environmental standards.
We aim to ensure all our products perform to high standards of energy efficiency, sound insulation, durability and longevity, and where possible maximise recycling opportunities.
