Thermal modelling

Our service also includes thermal modelling in the design phase using the powerful Equa Software. This software is used to predict temperatures in selected parts of a building to first establish the feasibility of using TermoDeck. During the detailed design stage, the thermal modelling is refined to establish the volume airflow rates for the various parts of the building and to enable sizing of ventilation plant and ductwork.

The results of the modelling depend upon accurate assumptions regarding the use of the building and the heating and cooling loads that will be present. The performance of the building envelope, including the effectiveness of solar shading, can be assessed and recommendations made if necessary. In some cases, the modelling may indicate that some form of cooling will be necessary to meet strict internal temperature criteria.

If you do choose TermoDeck, we'll work with you through feasibility, design, construction, commissioning and until the project is finished. TermoDeck warranty the performance of the building against the original design specification and thermal models to give you confidence and peace of mind.
