TermoDeck and the environment

Global warming is now regarded as "almost inevitable" according to the Governments Chief Scientific Officer. The Government's target of reducing emissions in the UK by 60% by 2050 has really caught the imagination of forward-thinking people in the building services industry.

Given that buildings contribute almost 50% of the Carbon Dioxide levels known to cause climate change, it is no surprise that new legislation is being introduced demanding buildings achieve significantly greater energy efficiency.

As well as having to meet these more demanding standards, it is predicted that there will be more hot days, meaning that cooling loads will increase due to global warming.

TermoDeck has proved to be a low energy technology that can address the issues of evermore demanding legislation and the need to cope with more arduous climate conditions.
