We regularly benchmark our quality performance using customer feedback surveys and analysis to identify performance improvements.

Complaints handling and resolution

Where we do experience any issues, we seek to continuously improve our performance and aim to resolve these quickly and satisfactorily. Our documented corrective action system feeds into our Quality Scheme Review. We have issued a new customer complaints policy.

Improving concrete’s consistency

We have developed innovative concrete slump monitoring technology to improve concrete quality. This offers a practical solution that increases the accuracy and efficiency of concrete production.

In 2011, we rolled out new concrete slump monitoring technology across all 130 large mixer trucks in the Central region and at all the region’s concrete plants. This innovative technology offers a practical solution that improves the accuracy, efficiency and quality of concrete production. We plan further roll-out across other regions in 2012.
