Our shareholders and investors

We became a wholly owned subsidiary of Anglo American plc in 2000. This means we run our operations independently while benefiting from the combined resources of both companies. We have consistently pursued a strategy of sustainable growth that delivers positive returns for investors and shareholders.

Our actions

Transparent reporting

We recognise the importance of transparency in financial reporting, as this informs the decisions made by investors and shareholders.

Our high business standards encompass safety, governance and ethics, as well as positive social and environmental impacts. Across the business, ethical conduct is underpinned by our commitment to business ethics and integrity. We comply with the Anglo American Good Citizenship Business Principles, which give guidance in four key areas: business integrity, safety and sustainable development, employment and labour rights, and community development and human rights.

Every year, we disclose our annual greenhouse gas emissions and climate change data, via Anglo American, in the Carbon Disclosure Project’s Investor Report. In addition, we integrate our sustainability performance data into Anglo American’s annual Sustainable Development Reports.
