Customer surveys
We conduct customer surveys to find out what people think about our products and services, and what they value about Tarmac. In 2011, 96% of clients were highly satisfied with the customer experience, and 97% were impressed with our dedicated approach to sustainability. In the rare event of complaints, we have a detailed follow-up process in place to address any customer issues efficiently.
Carbon Footprint Calculator
In 2011, Tarmac launched the industry’s first, comprehensive Carbon Footprint Calculator. It enables us to provide our customers with carbon footprint information for any product from any of our manufacturing locations in the UK. Tarmac’s Carbon Footprint Calculator complies with PAS 2050 standard methodology and asPECT (Asphalt Pavement Embodied Carbon Tool), both recognised industry standards for calculating carbon footprints.

Concrete Calculator
Tarmac continuously develops innovative products and services to help customers meet their sustainability challenges and deliver more sustainable construction. In 2011, we launched the first-ever concrete calculator app, designed to calculate ready mixed concrete volumes and to make ordering concrete a straightforward process.
