Tarmac Speak up scheme for suppliers
In the interests of fairness and honesty, we've set up a scheme where our suppliers can anonymously say if they feel we, or their competitors, aren't playing by the rules. We call it Speak Up, and that's what we want them to do.
We don't do deals on the golf course. We don't ask for tenders we don't intend to scrutinise. And we don't give work to friends. What we do offer is a completely professional approach in our dealings with all suppliers with no place for anything other than working to the highest ethical and professional conduct standards.
So, if you're a supplier and you've any concerns at all, we expect you to let us know.
By contacting the Speak Up service you'll be able to register your issue/complaint in complete confidence and rest assured that it will be dealt with swiftly and professionally, ensuring that any malpractice is immediately highlighted and stamped out.
What should I report?
Any conduct contrary to the integrity policy, including:
- Abuse or theft of company resources
- Bribery, corruption and fraud
- Damage to the environment or unfairness towards local communities
- Threats to safety and health
- Conflicts of interest
- Improper accounting practices
I want to report what I know,
but will I suffer reprisal?
Company policy is that no person will suffer for raising, in good faith, violations of
the integrity policy or any legal or ethical concern.
In some countries (for example, the UK and Europe) the right to expose wrongdoings
without being prejudiced in the workplace is protected by law.
