4th December - TARMAC CHECKS IN FOR REPAIRS AT TRAVELODGE AND LITTLE CHEF

Tarmac Limited has been contracted by facilities management company, Enterprise CRW Maintenance, to survey and carry out infrastructure repairs and maintenance at about 240 TraveLodge and Little Chef sites around the country.

Currently half way through the contract, Tarmac has assessed more than 120 sites and is carrying out repair and improvement works valued in excess of 500,000 pounds.

Commenting on the contract, Lee Kind, commercial development manager for Tarmac National Contracting, said:

"To date, we have carried out kerbing improvements, drainage repairs, general ground works, white lining, and patch repairs, as well as complete reconstruction works at more than 80 TraveLodge and Little Chef sites around the UK.

Craig McClelland, contracts manager at Enterprise CRW, added:

"Tarmac is well-placed to deliver this kind of infrastructure maintenance and management support on a national scale. We are pleased to be working with Tarmac and TraveLodge Facilities Management, to carry out these improvements, which are necessary to enhance the TraveLodge estate and meet the requirements of customer needs."
